When is the best time for my child to start to learn a second language?

Now! Research suggests that children who start learning a language after 8 years of age, have a more difficult time learning and are lessly to have a native accent.

How are the classes conducted?

Classes are conducted in the target language to provide students an authentic language learning experience.

How much of the target language will my child really learn?

Fluency in any language is developed over years of exposure. Just think, you did not learn your native language in 10 weeks! You learned with constant exposure and repetition. Often, your child's progress will depend on the level of exposure outside of the class, as well. We discuss methods that parents can use to assist in the language acquisition process, even if it is not their spoken language at home.


What is your refund policy?

Tuition is fully refundable, minus the registration fee, if cancelled up to one week prior to the start of classes. No refunds are issued after classes have begun.

Will learning a second language interfere with my child learning English?

Many studies have shown that learning a second language enhances a child's ability to learn English.  There is no proven long term delay in the development of English, when a child learns a second language.

How can I assist in the language learning process at home?

It is extremely important for your child to know that you value and respect the language that they are learning. Attend cultural events, watch videos and movies in the target language! When you show enthusiasm and interest in the second language, it brings value to the language for your child.

Why is it easier for children to learn a language than adults?

Our brains are wired for language learning during the first years of life, making it ideal for children to acquire language.

What are the benefits of language learning?

The benefits are endless. Beginning the process in the formative years (1-8) builds a larger vocabulary, increases cognitive thinking skills, produces higher standardized test scores and develops a better understanding and respect for other languages and cultures. Not to mention the financial benefits!
